Product Review: CrewNerd and ENGO 2 Heads-Up Display Glasses

Did you know you can get your rowing stroke rate and other performance statistics directly “on” glasses that use augmented reality?

You can! You can use the CrewNerd app with ENGO 2 Photochromic lenses.

ENGO 2 is “the lightest, smartest, highest performing heads-up display ever created for endurance athletes.” ENGO 2 uses ActiveLook augmented reality technology. As you may recall, we recently announced our partnership with MICROOLED, the makers of ActiveLook.

So, what does it feel like to use CrewNerd with heads-up display (HUD) glasses that use ActiveLook augmented reality glasses? One of our CrewNerd rowing users, Dan Oltersdorf, provided a first-hand video review of the ENGO 2 glasses with CrewNerd supplying his rowing performance data.”

Dan Oltersdorf’s review of the ENGO2 glasses with CrewNerd

Dan’s a fan of the CrewNerd app. “CrewNerd is a pretty cool app … it’s super cool being able to look at the data.”

Dan thinks more and more people are going to start using augmented reality glasses with CrewNerd. “People are starting to use this in addition to, or instead of, their phones alone, or their SpeedCoach or StrokeCoach.”Interested in learning more? Stop by our table at RowFest 2024!
